The purpose of this Paris journey was twofold: to attend two classes at L’ÉCOLE, School of Jewelry Arts by Van Cleef & Arpels (From Design to Mock-up and Trying Out the Jeweler’s Techniques) and to restock Jenny’s favorite Japanese teas, which she first discovered during our New Year trip to Japan and quickly ran out of after returning home.
We stayed at Hôtel Madame Drouot & Spa, a thoughtfully designed four-star hotel nestled in the heart of Paris’ 9ᵉ arrondissement, just steps from the historic Drouot auction house. With only 33 rooms, the hotel feels intimate and calm. Bright, warm tones and a balance of authenticity and understated elegance create an atmosphere that is both welcoming and refined.
Its location was ideal, within easy walking distance of museums, VCA classes, and our favorite tea destinations.
