The way we discovered Mandarin Oriental Bangkok was delightfully unexpected.
While looking for gifts for our Thai family living outside Bangkok, we came across the Mandarin Oriental café and shop in Siam Paragon. The café is always busy and well known for its beautiful patisserie, which you can enjoy there or take home. While browsing the menu, Jenny discovered the Mandarin Oriental Bangkok online shop. This immediately caught our attention. In Switzerland and many nearby European countries, hotels rarely offer such services. Here, you can order fresh delicacies, elegant flower gifts like traditional Puang Malai garlands, and special handcrafted items that are only available through this hotel. Everything feels carefully chosen and very personal.
Mandarin Oriental Bangkok is truly iconic. It brings together rich history and modern city life. It is a well-known meeting place for Thai high society, a place where families come together to spend time, celebrate special moments, and enjoy refined hospitality. During our stay, we experienced this atmosphere first-hand while the hotel was preparing for a wedding, one of many family celebrations held here.
